
History
The Literacy Coalition began in 1988 with a Federal Grant obtained through the Indiana State Library. Since that time, the Coalition has been working to reduce illiteracy in Fulton County adults. Currently the program is housed in the Fulton County Public Library located in Rochester, with a program on English as a Second Language operating in the Akron area.
