January 27, 2020, marks the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz Concentration Camp, which was used by the Nazis to exterminate the Jewish people and others during the Holocaust.
Eva Kor was a child survivor of the Holocaust and the experiments that Nazi Doctor Josef Mengele performed on twins at Auschwitz.
To celebrate Eva Kor’s life and contributions to our state and the nation, Governor Eric Holcomb has declared Monday, January 27, 2020 as Eva Education Day.
The Fulton County Public Library (Rochester) will be celebrating the life of Eva Kor by showing the DVD “Eva : A-7063 : an Auschwitz Survivor’s Fight to Heal the World”. Monday, January 27 @ 3:00pm in Meeting Room A.
